Day 2 · May 12, 2009
Meeting 2 - LSU Mounds, Baton Rouge, LA
We felt the two mounds which LSU had been built around were like idolatrous breasts, and represented universities feeding off of humanistic philosophy. We had noticed growing out of one of the two mounds was a gnarled, deformed tree, which screamed at us prophetically on many levels and the tree representing breast cancer as being related to abortion issue.
The ladies released the From Fragmentation to Fruitfulness Oil over the tree, and had a powerful time of intercession. Upon closer inspection of the tree, they found that the knots looked like open and closed wombs.
We then sent two runners to the top of each mound with a portion of communion and Hannah's oil to bring forth on one, and mercy oil on the other. As the runners released the oil atop the two mounds, a fresh wind began to blow.
Meeting 3 - Natchez Visitor Center, Natchez, MS
In Natchez, the team met with Martha Lucia, honored general in the body of Christ. With Martha were her two granddaughters, spiritual historian Dana Millar, and several seasoned leaders from the Mississippi-Louisiana area.
We had a prophetic word that the Lord was doing a root canal in Natchez, drilling through layers of generational iniquity. We saw Natchez as a furrow in the earth that was to bring forth fruitfulness and prosperity. The enemy had planted some things in that furrow that had produced the iniquitous structures that we were dealing with, but the prophetic destiny of that region was to produce prosperity.
We did much intercession concerning the womb of Natchez and ancient slave trade and the corrupt economic structure in the region.
This whole journey has been about sound. Dana Millar presented James with two bells: one was a very antique bell, and the other a golden bell. The old, iron bell represented iron sharpening iron. The gold bell represented the release from the poverty spirit and the sound of Kingdom provision.
A young black man in his mid-20s came to the edge of the group, took off his hat, and bowed his head and prayed.
Pastor Samuel had moved to Natchez from Illinois. We were astounded, because in the morning meeting we released Hannah's oil that Chuck had given us to birth forth, and now in the afternoon gathering, Samuel appears.
It reminded us much of the '07 Cumberland Journey and the Benjamin visitation.
James felt led to give Samuel the gold bell to break poverty structures off of Mississippi.
Meeting 4 - Bluff Park Gazebo, Natchez, MS
We met in Natchez high above the Mississippi in the Bluff Park Gazebo, under the backdrop of a tremendous sunset. The gazebo was packed with people, even many flowing down the stairs and standing around below.
We released the sound of the drums. James had been saying continually that with each abortion the heart beat of America had been separated from the heart of God. The drums were in a prophetic sense like defibrillators and realigning the heart of America.
Although we didn't realize it at the time, Ruthie Young released the theme song for the journey, the Ray Hughes song - Heavens are Open.
Martha Lucia began to prophesy that God is bending us as His bow. She was caught up in the rhythm of the drums, and said that they sounded like marching. And prophesied over us that the angel of the Lord was going before us preparing the way at each stop up the river.
When we got to St. Louis, a young African-American woman asked to speak with me after the gathering. She said that when the drum began to beat she saw a large angel on a white horse riding up the Mississippi river. She asked the Lord what this meant, He said, “This is the Angel of Triumph, he is preparing the way as they travel up river.”
